Heating It Up For Horny Hump Day

Thank you for joining me again this week for Horny Hump Day. Take a moment to share in a writer's world. This week's snippet is again from my work in progress with the working title "A Ghostly Tale II". Kara, having finally left her office for the brunch in the fishbowl is taken with an ice sculpture which is the central attraction in the banquet room. The work is of a satyr and a maiden with a fruiting tree in full leaf overhanging their amorous encounter.
The fingers of one of his hands pinched one of her exposed nipples. The hand of the other reached up as though to pluck a fruit from the branches above. The maiden reclined on one elbow, her eyes partly closed.
A Ghostly Tale II will be listed at Smashwords.com before October of this year. I'm having fun creating it. The Moon-Kissed Chi will be posted in final on May 1 of this year. I look forward to seeing you next week for Horny Hump Day. Don't forget to visit the other stops on the hop.

    1. thank you. i had hoped they'd offer an ice-sculpting class around here, but alas, it's not happened yet. thank so much for stopping in and commenting. the social climate of the town would never permit the carving and use of such a sculpture unfortunately. they'd bring back legalized lynching.

  5. It sounds like something from a Vargas painting. I can picture it easily.

    1. i had a painting in mind when i added it to the story. it was a faint memory and i'm not sure where or when i'd seen it or who it was by. the character who designed the sculpture is an artist and will be working this theme in different media throughout the story.

    1. hmmmmm. i don't know. considering it's a figment of my overactive imagination, i couldn't say. :D but it stands to reason, there'd be a market for it, right? they probably won't last as long as mainstream ice sculpture art because of the heat they'd ignite.
