Is It Hawt Enough For You?

Cooler winter temperatures are around the corner.  But, on Horny Hump Day, there's no winter weather.  Horny Hump Day (HDD) is the one holiday of the year I find I need to rev up the floor fan.  And, guess what?  It occurs every week.  For the last couple of HHD's we've been getting to know Johnny.  Johnny Maitland, that is.  For last week's Horny Hump Day, you learn a bit about Amanda Kohlson, his current love interest.  I've posted a link to the first excerpt from Johnny Be Good.

How do you like your spanking (to read or literally)?

How do you like your spanking (to read or literally)?  The visual and sensual are both important in the reading.  Considering the popularity of the spanking story, I've created this poll to get a feel for how you readers like the scene to unfold.  Now it's up to you whether you share in this blog post if it's your preferred experience or how you like to read it.

For me, the unfolding of the scene needs to relate back to the characters and what I perceive their tastes to be.  The timing of the spanking should be taken into consideration also.  Sometimes you just gotta make do with what's on hand.  I'm no expert in this popular entertainment, however, i have a few ideas of my own.

When The Temperature Soars, It's Horny Hump Day

This week I have a selection from a two-hundred word snippet I felt compelled to write.  Who knows?  I may develop this bit in the future.  What intrigues me about it is there are no markers flagging it for a particular genre (except for erotica / romance) so I'm not locked in as to what to do with it.  You'll find every word of it here.  Other snippets I've penned can be found here.
